Irish and Chin's super sound system package tour will hit the road again during the Thanksgiving 2011 Holiday.  The tour will feature the fiery combination of Japan's Mighty Crown and U.K.'s David Rodigan by popular demand.  Mighty Crown and David Rodigan will once again set out to entertain their fans in key U.S. markets. Marking their third time on the road together, Mighty Crown and David Rodigan are thrilled by the tour's past success.

Scheduled for Wednesday, November 23 - Sunday, November 27,  the tour will mainly highlight foundation music.  Both Mighty Crown and David Rodigan anticipate providing fans with an old school juggling experience, limiting the new music that will be played. Fans should brace themselves for powerful dub plate and 45 selections from two of the industry's best known sounds.

At this time, the number of booking requests exceed the dates available.  In addition to the quality entertainment factor, the combination of Mighty Crown and David Rodigan is also in heavy demand because they only tour twice a year, since they reside in different parts of the World. To expose the package to a broader audience and give promoters in other markets an opportunity to book the tour, the cities pegged for Thanksgiving 2011 will not include those visited on prior tours.

"Mighty Crown and Rodigan have sold out venues on two tours already, opening the doors for other sounds in the industry to come together and do the same thing," says Sami T.  "I am excited about this tour because it gives young fans a taste of real Reggae music."

The Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 tours were a hit among promoters and all in attendance, which builds great momentum for the upcoming tour. On past tours, Mighty Crown and David Rodigan performed before sold out audiences in more than 15 cities in the U.S. and Canada.  The sound system package tours, created by Garfield "Chin" Bourne, are designed to provide quality sound system entertainment to promoters at an affordable price. Booking these sounds independently would cost a lot more than booking them together. Good pricing allows promoters to see a decent profit from their investment, while allowing them to present something of value to patrons.

"The sound system industry is suffering because most promoters don't want to accommodate the high expenses of booking fees, hotels, airline tickets, etc," says Masta Simon of Mighty Crown. "Coming together with with Rodigan for a reduced price allows the Dancehall to start buzzing again. At the end of the day, it's all about Reggae music -- no egos."
