Trooper Wins Big!!

Recently, Trooper scored a victory at "Sound Fi Dead", annual sound clash held in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. The clash was well attended and filled with exciting moments for all the sounds involved.

Black Kat went in hard, scoring the first round and tied with Sentinel in the second round.
Sentinel played great! Their opening round was one to be remembered.

Ricky Trooper simply cruised through each round striking when necessary. Synimax also created sparks throughout the night, making them a force to reckon with. Black Blunt manage to shine here and there, but of course there can be only one winner.

In this case that winner was Ricky Trooper. Going into the last round, Trooper turned on the heat, showing he was in top form. Commanding the clash he accused Black Blunt of playing a splice Kartel dub. In the "Tune fi Tune " round Trooper defeated Sentinel 6 to 0, "A landslide beaten," some added!   Hats off to Sentinel, they made it to 'tune fi tune' without the presence of their lead member Elma.
The highlight of the night was Ding Dong's "It's a Holiday" on dubplate. It played about five times!

In the end, each sound crossed the finish line in the following order:

1st place- Ricky Trooper
2nd place - Sentinel
3rd Place - Black Kat
4th Place - Synimaxs
5th Place - Black Blunt

Big up to Blaxx, 4 real Chin when r u going to do a \"Where they at interviwed wid some of the older selectors Lenny and Glama G who use to play Bass oddyssey then went on to play there own sound Amplex, Juxie Killa from travellers then Katarock, Winter Fresh Travellers and Addies I know Nuts from supa D was play one sound from the U.S/J.A call one blood but can\'t tell u when i last heard from them, but anyway thats just a few to mention there is so much more this would be a good feature.

Bobby, this shouldn\'t be a money ting. This should be for the love of the sound clash patrons, for the love of putting the soundsclash industry to where it once was. Trooper still play jaro, so that shouldn\'t be a problem, Matterhorn would just have to reconcile is differences with Face, and Johnny and links neva left on a bad note. So in conclusion, this is definately possible. Just one last time

To me addies wasn\'t no bad sound,like how Bass Odyssey is a bunch of hard working selector and aBAD SOUND,so when nuff man a guh seh baby face ivin troopa strength just remember troopa used to put chune together while babyface used to cut off Saxon chune dem and bad up selectors who fail fi defend dem selves.And he\'s used to put together one or two chunes also.If troopa cut out di whole heap a cursing and disrespect you know how much farther he\'ll reach?the punk just have a filthy mout and mi luv how chin get under his skin...Big up troopa

Chin,link uop fada Mello from .st.Thomas he\'s currently in New York,but trust me:Lees Unlimited is or was not St.Thomas bad sound it was always Mello Construction.Dem box deep they have selectors,a just a chance dem want now.Who knows they or other country sounds may be the new Jaro Bass Odyssey or Body Guard...Chin also when are you going to do a \'\'Where are they now interview on old selectors like Nuts from Supa D him did bad,if he was playing Supa D when Jaro come back sound clash history would be a little hotta than it is now.
