This week we are going to recap on two very important topics in my blog. The feud between selectors and artist and their entourages is still on the rise here in Jamaica especially with this Gully and Gaza war. And its starting to effect to party patrons as well. If you have been reading the Irish and Chin news you would have seen the story about the visiting couple who got beat up because they were listening to a Mavado song on a mixed tape while on Gaza turf. This has to stop.
Another topic i want to talk about is "one on one clashing", people have been saying they want to see them come back. So do I. However i don't think it can happen in the industry right now and here's why...

I disagree somewhat.. I dont think you need contraversy. Somoe of the great moke vs Downbeat.. upsetter vs blakroots. Youthman Promotion vs Sturmars or Jammys vs Scorpio was not based on contraversy but quality sounds expressing themselves. As a old header and long time sound man I disagre with you logic but see why its wht you would say that and from your paradigm you are right. The quality or lack of quality of the music is such that you need other thigs to sell it than the talent... If you are saying that you are abosolutely correct.

Chin, i don\'t agree with your one on one arguement. One on One clashes are the best in Europe. It is the best entertainment.
