A 'cross di border' victory was scored on Saturday, July 7th in Brooklyn. by Tampa based Poison Dart sound system who got a well deserved win in New York on the weekend when they clashed with king Addies. The Poison Dart crew out played the "King sound" from start to finish.

Word is that Poison Dart walked out of the venue without doing a tune fi tune round but as I got it in an exclusive interview from the victorious crew it just wasn't necessary as the patrons had declared King Addies 'DEAD'.  This was the was the first face off between the two sounds in 14 years, and they held nothing back!  Strong speeches and tuff selections allowed Poison Dart to stay miles ahead of their opponent through to the end.

Prior to this victory, Poison Dart delivered a wicked performance at World Clash RESET earlier this year, and also won a few minor league competitions here and there.  Additionally they are the top juggling sound in Tampa Fl...with bookings every weekend. So I ask.. Is it finally Poison Dart's time to shine?

For years the veteran sound system, Poison Dart, has been trying hard to prove to clash fans that they should be rated among the best in the industry. A quest that has proven difficult for them at times. Infact, there were times when it appeared that they couldn't win a clash to 'save dem life'. Sooo many clash fans doubted that they could ever become a 'champion' sound. Maybe this will silence some naysayers...
