8 Week Competition

Here's a plan! We are going to add an upcoming artist feature to our Sound Chat radio program. This section of the show will consist of songs from artists who are trying to gain exposure for their material. My vision is to do this in a fun way, one that Sound Chat listeners would fine interesting and entertaining.  Basically, we will be achieving two goals at one time; entertaining the masses with music, humor and great discussion and finding the hitmakers of tomorrow. With that being said, once a week for the period of eight weeks, Sound Chat will have a feature called "Song Clash --Pull Up or Lock Off."

During this section of the program, we will feature songs from new talent in the format of a clash. Each week, 3 or 4 songs will be selected from a pool of new material we receive via email. The name of the artist, location, and song titles will be announced for all participants. Once each song is played, the phone lines will open for listeners to comment and vote for the best song.  Each week, the winner of the competition will be moved to the following week to face off with a new set of contenders. We are still working out the flow of the competition, so the full details are forthcoming.

Never-the-less, young upcoming artists get ready for a cut throat competition, like only Irish and Chin know how to stage!
