Flava Squad CEO killed

Jamaica's music fraternity is once again saddened by the sudden tragic death of Flava Squad Entertainment's CEO, Selvin 'Ewan' McRae has died. According to reports McRae was shot and killed by unknown assailants at his home in Orlando Florida on Sunday morning. No further details regarding the shooting have emerged at this time and Miami police are currently investigating the matter.

He was a native of St. Elizabeth, known popularly as aewan-McRae promoter for Flava Squad Entertainment since 1999. McRae and the Flava Squad team have produced 12 albums to date including the Quiet Storm Riddim, Addiction Reloaded Riddim and theHazardous Riddim. Additionally, McRae worked with several Dancehall/Reggae superstars including Sizzla, Gyptian, Luciano, Konshens, Warrior King, Lutan Fyah, Delly Ranx and Khago, amongst several others.
