Top Jamaican dancers from the crews MOB (Sri Lanka), Dance Xpressionz (Shelly), Elite Team (Andre), First Class Dancers (Latonya Styles) along with John Bling returned from teaching dance workshops in Russia recently. This was done under Latonya Styles' Dance Ja camp. They pointed out that this was a critical effort  to ensure that authentic Dancehall dancing was being spread across Europe.

Reportedly there is a session called Ragga Jam which is teaching a "watered-down" versions of the dance genre, with many teachers then levaing for their home towns to teach other students in \correct/inaccurate movements, names and overall history of the Jamaican dance form.

The dancers hope to make other such trips but said that securing work permits were difficult hence they had to travel under the banner of 'cultural exchange'. While there they taught Jamaican ring games and spoke about fashion among other aspects of the culture as the hunger for all things Jamaican was in high demand.
