No Maddz on the move

The quirky performance poets known as No Maddz is all set to launch their video for the single Sort out You Life Jamaica while
gearing up for performances in Germany and London later this summer..
The video, which is directed by Mykal Cushnie and produced by the Nomaddic Movement, is dedicated to Jamaica's 50th anniversary of Independence.Two members of the quartet, Sheldon Shepherd and Christopher Gordon told Splash that the song encourages Jamaicans to enhance their full potential and uphold the values of the country.
"Our aim is to achieve awareness so that persons can know what the Nomaddic Movement is all about and encourage Jamaicans to think outside of the box in striving for excellence," they said.
"We have always pride ourselves as Jamaicans and knew that we had to contribute to the Jamaica's 50th anniversary celebrations. We didn't want to do the regular campaigning but one of commercial value," Shepherd added.
The group that also consist of vocalists Everaldo Creary and Oneil Peart was formed in 2000 while they were all students at Kingston College.
Apart from their recent American Black Film Festival (ABFF) Best Actor Award, they also recipients of the Prime Minster Youth Award for excellence in the field of Arts and Culture in the years 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009.
