Washington Post Journalist David Maraniss has written in a book titled "Barack Obama- The story" that the present U.S. president had become obsessed with Bob Marley's " Survival" album while in College. Barack was reportedly often teased by the black student population of being an 'oreo' or not black enough. In response Obama took steps to identify with so called 'black issues' by immersing himself into the music and messages of the late reggae superstar.
