World Clash Team Takes a Loss in England

Yo!! The Reggae Girls beat the shit out of my team on Saturday. I mean the shit was embarassing. My team just could not score points.
I was sure we were going to win the shit. Earlier in the day we all got together and made preparations for the clash as a team. It was maddd!! Everyone had their dubs out and the attack was well planned. In addition, my wild card, Kilimanjaro was at the meeting. This ensured that the "tune fi tune" would be a walk over. Come on!!! Jaro's dub box is sick!! So, the only pressure would be in the earlier rounds.

If I am not mistaken, The UK Team scored about 3 rounds before my team won a single round. Nothing went right for us! All my players had an off night. I would say that Black Kat did the best, but then again Mighty Crown helped Panther win his biggest round. So, I guess they were both lame. Sentinel, oh bwoy! They were cold all night. Good sounds, but we never made it past the starting gate. LOL!!

In our defense, I will admit that the crowd was biased!! Without a fuckin' doubt, we got a raw deal. At times, we won rounds and those fuckers gave it to the other team....LOL. But whatever -- a win is a win. I think the crowd interperted the event's concept as the USA vs UK instead of World Clash vs UK Cup Clash.

Truthfully, the UK Cup Team was not all that impressive. Don't believe the hype! Bass Odyssey was just ok. My bwoys One Love had a really bad night. David Rodigan carried their team to victory -- hands down. Rodigan had the crowd eating out of his hands for the whole night.

I really flopped in the "ACE CARD" round. I gave Kilamanjaro a wicked introduction and Freddy came in a flopped. Bwoy did I look like an idot! I had the big bad Jaro and the crowd was just standing there like "Come on Chin, do better than that." The UK team's ace card was Tony Matterhorn. He flopped too, but Julian Marley walked out and helped him as a second Ace Card. What a shock....a Marley! Great look! So, despite Matterhorn playing a bunch of fuckery in his round with very little forwards, he scored the point over Freddy who played some solid foundation dubs. Bias I tell u... bias.... LOL..... but I had so much fun!!!!! I loved it!!

Oh and before I forget, David Rodigan beat Freddy silly in the "tune fi tune" round. It was a joke! Poor Freddy!

most of you here kill me first saxon won world sound cup clash and that was bias cause they rules say no play back tune or intro and they played back a intro by addies right after they played it and was not disqualifyas far as keeping the rematch in new york it makes no difference the uk team will win at the end of the night tune talk and that us team was not ready and just for the record jaro losing has nothing to do with freddy taking over ,when trooper used to play jaro ,odyssey beat them the same way go listen to 3 the hard way jaro vs jammys vs odyssey

Chin, I think you should have the rematch here in NY and keep it at Amazura....Amaz ura is like ur home base and NY crowd not biased....and just to give it that reminisent feel.....keep it in October....and ur line up should be Black Kat, LP International, Mighty Crown and ur wild card should be either Silverhawk or Downbeat and have Beenie Man pass thru for ur team....I think that all the sounds I listed can move pass their little differences and win one for NY....with the sounds I listed you cover all basis for NY with no biased and have an international feel....That is my opinion.....

i attended the clash and thought the clash was good in stages. rodigan played good from start to finish, bass odyssey earned their forwards(damion did good) one love are confused, they need to work with one mc and stop changing mcs, I rate crown highly but they did not perform at this one , i expected something special from them, they had no zest in their performance. i thought sentinal played alright but the crowd was a bit biased towards them (good tunes on foundation riddim in their second round but crowd gave them no forward which i thought was wrong) also i swear they played the big kartel \'CLARKS TUNE\'on dub with the sounds name.Jaro\'s big tunes should have dun the dance but again certain people was biased only the great addies can go down them lane.Matterhorn was o.k Overall event was good. As a die hard clash fan big up all war sounds who try to entertain the crowd. England need more clash dances more one on ones

the world clash series from the early 90\'s, had a uk winner, Saxon. However, IF you are talking about UK CUP CLASH that is promoted by IRISH AND CHIN and the reggae Girls then you are correct. i dnt know if you know this but da crowd had to be \'\'BIAS\'\'bec ause if u go tru the history of uk cup clash,this is probably the first time a uk cup has being won by a uk team or any body representing the uk,so chin dnt feeling a way,plan something in the us on us soil for them bloodclaaat
