Poison Dart played a Jay Z dubplate when they clashed with Mighty Crown in Antigua. It got a huge forward. When Mighty Crown told the crowd it was fake, the crowd started to boo Mighty Crown because they thought it was real. The following week -- Sentinel plays the same Jay Z dub at DBD 10. This time, the crowd realizes that it is a fake and
boos the song. Sentinel then admits that the dub is a fake and gets a huge forward for their admission using stylish speech.
How is this possible? I rate Sentinel, but I can't support playing fake dubs. If Mighty Crown was caught playing fake dubs, it would be headline news on DHR. Yes, it is a fact that C-Thug and Drew H.I.M.(admins for DHR) helped organize and voice all of Sentinel's dubs for DDB 10. Nothing is wrong with that. I do the same thing for Mighty Crown. But, doesn't this mean that both C-Thug and Drew H.I.M. endorsed Sentinel playing a fake Jay Z dub? So, essentially, this means the same admins that criticize sounds on their site for splicing dubs are co-conspirators in masterminding a fake dub. Does this set a good example for the standards which all sounds are obliged to uphold in the clash arena?
Tell C-Thug and Drew H.I.M., who both got a good laugh from Trooper's video dissing me, if the Jay Z dub is real "PUT IT PON YOUTUBE." LOL...
