I AM Throwing Punches....

chinThe Irish and Chin event year has officially started. Please be afraid if your intention is anything less than wanting to see us score! First, to welcome the Spring is Irish and Chin theatre. "Ghett-Out" is the name of the production and it stars Keith "Shebada" Ramsay. There was so much request for a new play from our female fan base that we had to make it happen. For now, we are just doing 2 shows though! The reason being is that we are going to be way toooo busy promoting our second event "REEEWIND!"

Yes, I said it -- "Reeewind!" We were trying to hold off on the staging of this event but we got tired of seeing people using our SHIT (those of you who may say to yourself that Irish and Chin are no the first promoters to do throw back dances have a good point, however -- we were the first to conceptualizee certain concepts surrounding vintage dancehall shows in the US and that is something one can't deny). Damn, some people talk soooo much shit about Irish and Chin, but they all keep following the leaders. One would think with sooo much to say, they would create their own concept. But I guess that would be way too easy!

Remember that I recently said "Instead of some people doing their own thing, their lives have been built on trying to out-do Irish and Chin." So far, failure has been their reward! Never-the-less, they never learn. Their egos will enforce them to keep trying. Our job is just to always be ready and waiting. Anyway, "Reeewind" is in the planning stage. I won't lie -- it's a little challenging to grasp a good line up because there has been about 3 fake-me-out Reeewind type events since our last staging....lol. However, I know that we will get it poppin'. Real promoters work best under pressure.... believe that! The date is Saturday, April 30 in Amazura.

Within the last 10 ten years, I've seen so many of our creations either imitated or duplicated using other event titles. Somehow, we have survived it all. I wouldn't be surprised if the next move for some promoters is to start staging Shebada plays....lol. At least, that would breathe life into that washed up selector who made it famous by making a now infamous Youtube video. It will give him something to talk about.
