First please allow me to big up World Champion Sentinel for winning another big clash. They have truly been doing well in the arena. Unfortunately, I had to miss this year's "Sound Fi Dead" sound competition in Jamaica. I had high hopes on being there, but had tooooo much going on. No matter how hard I try to make It to this competition, I always find myself tied up with business ventures that forbids my attendance. Surprisingly though I was not the only one that missed this year's game! Three of the sounds on the bill were absent as well!
Reviews of the clash state that Body Guard, Black Kat, and what's his name never attended. Very odd news because over the years Sound Fi Dead has always been a credible event. Since speculations have been flying all over the Internet, I decided to call two of the three sounds in question. The third doesn't mean much these days so reaching out to him would be a waste of time.
I would still like to big up the promoters of the clash. I know this year's event never worked out in their favor, but events have their ups and downs. Promoters have to learn to handle the pressure of the business, and don't give up when disappointment occurs.
Below clash fans can listen to phone the conversations I had with the owner of Bodyguard- Courtney Singh and Panther of Black Kat. Each gave their reason why they didn't make it to this year's event.
