Friendship?

I was really in need of a topic to write about this week.  I mean I was stuck!  Then i got a text from someone i considered a friend beefing about something he viewed the wrong way.  Now check it... every time this person's name come up in doing me dirty in the streets i call him and talk to him about it.  Bare in mind.. the info I get comes from great sources, but i never jump the gun.  I still call this dude and ask his side of the story.  And whatever he says... I work with... I never ever made it go past that. No loud talking.. nothing!! I believe in friendships.  No one can turn me against a person or change my mind about them.  I judge people on how they deal with me.  And I try not to follow the hype! If I stop dealing with a person its because i feel the need to.

So, I get the text and return it with a call to explain.  Dude is vex.  Talking loud and shit!  Not trying to hear me..  Just basically saying "you told me that you were not going to do this and you did".  Damn i felt away!  because i could have come at this kid the same way many of times and I did not.

Now...Truthfully the error was my fault but not done on purpose. I relayed the message he gave me to the proper person however,  the instruction was not carried out as instructed.  Of course,  it makes me look bad because it looks as if the neglection was done spitefully, but if you know your friends well enough to know what they will and will not do one should always be able to pick sense out of nonsense however, explaining to this guy went  in one ear and came though the next. Which ultimately mean that there was no friendship there in the first place more like something that can be defined as in the street associate.

With that being said moving forward i know how to deal with things no arguments necessary. Alot of us get too caught up in this music industry thing and become life long enemies based on stupidity. I believe that there is enough food in the game for everyone, we just have to learn to deal with a spade like a spade, bringing friendship into business has always been a downfall for me.
