Clash started out at 12:30am and all 3 sounds came ready for the war…. King Sharpe steped in as Chins replacement. Sharpe hosted the last 3 The Hard Way.Many say CityLock should have won first round but Outcast was was awarded the winner of that round. King Klepto took rounds 2 and 3. City Lock didn't really connect with the Toronto crowd and was eliminated end of 3rd round. Due to the club givng us an extra hour we added a fourth round for Klepto and Outcast and Outcast took over.Klepto took back the clash in the dub fi dub and was awarded the winner of the clash. Both Klepto and Outcast had many fans in the venue and the crowd was often split down the middle and it was hard to judge.
CityLock: played very well just didn't connect with the Toronto crowd... Their most favoured round by the crowd was their 1st round and they played first as well which is hard for any sound to do in a foreign place. Nothing wrong with their tunes or selections, it just didn't work on the crowd. Althou they were elimnated first, I still feel they did a great job.
OutCast: For a young war sound Outcast played very well. They should be very proud of themselves. They played great all nite and gave Klepto a good fight. Although they may not have won the trophy, Many feel they won themselves a great war sound name. They came prepared and fought to the finish.
King Klepto: Deserved this win, They played consistant all nite and their main MC Polly kept the hype going all nite.
