winner ARE YOU FOR FUCKIN REAL? Sometimes I review the comments that some people leave on my blogs and it confuses me. I mean some people are so ignorant and narrow minded or is it that they are just trying to oppose anything that’s Irish and Chin affiliated. Honestly, I hope that it's an anti-Irish and Chin thing and not the fact that some bloggers are plain stupid.

In my recent blog about the King Addies/Rodigan clash, I stated that Rodigan won the clash and that Addies has been out of the game for a while, hence their loss of strength. Nothing about my statements is fabricated, yet and still -- I got comments stating that I have something against Addies and that I need to listen to the audio because based on the audio Addies won the dance. Are you people for real?

In most cases, the winner of a sound clash can not be determined by listening to the audio. It’s a fucking myth that is very inaccurate. What happens in a dance is sometimes not reflected on the audio…. for instance…. crowd noise, booing or cheering etc. When sound systems clash, the goal is to entertain the mass of people present. Therefore, if one plays the biggest dubs in the world but fails to stimulate the audience, they will lose the competition. Each territory that you go to enjoys a different selection of music. Therefore, what may be a big tune in Jamaica may not get forwards in a sound clash in England and vice versa. JUDGING from the audio is bullshit!!

Those of you who are trying to debate whether Rodigan won or lost the clash with Addies need to be real with yourselves. Addies is a great sound with a huge fan base. A lot of Addies’ fans tend to be biased at times when it comes to speaking the truth.

If it was announced that King Addies won the dance in Trinidad, but after listening to the audio, David Rodigan was the one who played the better selections -- none of you would declare Rodigan the winner. You would still say King Addies won. It’s that double standard bullshit that many clash fans live by. Since I am not saying Addies won, mi bad mind!!! I’m cool with that though. I don’t really care what people with empty points have to say. The facts are what matters!

Many of you will join any club that is against Irish and Chin, but none of you can stop the people with common sense from realizing that many of you are just haters. David Rodigan won! Fuck the audio! King Addies needs to get their weight up and book a rematch. It’s simple!

hey Rodigan is well known n babyface has a very small niche with addies. We can tell but the clash how u from TnT n Rodigan fram UK have more forward than u then him sey judas.......... ......sad

Audio no win dance,the people them whey inna de crowd sey rodi win regardless a whey him play,the crowd at any event where a clash keep decide the win,addies fans hol a next nail inna unno coffin,a try resurrect the dead.Just hold on to the memories of the back in the day addies cause right ya now them just a waste time,keep part II mek ram jam fu*k dem up

People. I was there front and centre. Addies could have won the clash but as langley stated his arrogance made him lose ..

Rodigan was CLEARLY the crowd favourite. But the people were loving Addies \'cause he is a son of the soil ..

But imagine face comes on the mic and calls his trini people traitors for not supporting him..BIGGGG MISTAKE ..

Both men could be accused of not doing their home work .. That Phyliss Dillon, Bunny Wailer and Prince Buster that Rodigan lives by flopped big time in Trinidad ( we don\'t want to hear that)

However Rodigan took the time out to do some ground work find out who is the hottest local artiste in Tdad of the day and voice them ..

King Addies you could have done the same.. Your dubs were HUGE.. you counteracted the super cat you counteracted the cocoa tea and you are the only person i have heard counteract the tenor saw but.. your speeches were poor..

Maybe in Brooklyn..but not in Tdad

Gonna make this very brief.. Face lost the clash. Im not gonna touch the actual tunes that were played but Face arrogance made him lose. He spoke too much, shoulda just shut up and let the tunes speak. Instead he spoke himself into a corner. Last thing is this, Rodigan played the chutney dub which was super duper huge and I find that Face coulda cut BIGGER soca tunes just to counteract. He didnt even have to play them until Rodigan played his. That chutney song was huge but a Machel Montano, Bunji Garlin or even a Benjai woulda stole the show hands down. I know this and my sound is a HEAVY IPod.

Respect Chin, fuk da haters but yuh also need fi get off Shebada batty.. it nuh look nice atall.

OK all...Chin makes a great point...at this moment in time the audience determines the clash winner...so let me then go back to a question then...this Sonia P dub issue is bothering me for real, because I am not sure if many, if any other sound can play dat - if you have a crowd that cannot tell big tune then is that not a big issue for the sound fraternity to deal wid ?...especially for us bigger heads who enjoy the sport of clashing...

Pussy.. it does not change the fact that Rodigan won the fuckin clash. So what\'s your point. CLASHES ARE JUDGED LIVE! NOT BY AUDIO. The dubs played in a clash don\'t determine shit. It\'s how the crowd reacts to them that tells everything... stupid ass.

This is the point of structure...you see in the sports world there are decisions that are crazy but then for the most part most decisions are final and indisputible... .JA-ROCK is totally right about the $$\'s/artists. But on the other hand maybe this type of arrangement keeps us talking ??

so wait you are saying chin is hating against addies? I think chin is one of their biggest fan, plus Chin had addies i think book or had addies in three dances involving him.

2 tag team clashes and one uk cup clash which addies flop in all 3 of them.

come on man, addies is a sell of it\'s former self.

plus unno a cry about addies, unno need to talk about how many times bass odyssey and mighty crown have gotten robbed.
