So, "War in the East" was a bitter war between Supersonic and myself. Trust me, it got serious!
I have had it in for these dudes for years. They have been dissing Irish and Chin since about 06. So, I was surely planning to give it to them. I didn't give a fuck! Some times, I just get tired of the bullshit, especially when it's coming from sounds who still haven't proven themselves in the global arena.
The clash started and the MC, Spider, had to start the fuckery. What's wrong with these sounds? How does it help them to win a clash against Crown by dissing me? Anyway, after a few cheap shots and dubs with my name in it, I was like..cool.
When are you guys planning to start clashing with Mighty Crown? But he went on and on. And the sad thing was that they were getting no forwards for their Chin disses.
I thought to myself.... this is looking like a personal thing! So fuck it -- let's get it poppin. I put so much pressure on them. They were shocked! Isn't that the Chin that everyone disses? Why is he telling us to "suck our mother?"
Normally, when Mighty Crown clashes I hang out in the corner. But that night I was in them dudes face... like what??? It was crazy! Spider and I faced off a few times... It got ugly!! The promoter was worried. He thought we were going to fight at one point. But, I just had enough of the talking!
You see, what people don't understand is that this clash shit is fake to a large degree. What you see in a dance is not what it's like in the streets. Most of the elite members and I are good friends and/or are far from enemies. Therefore, I don't take the things they say about me in the arena personal. It's all about selectors trying to get a cheap forward. Truthfully, I get back at them in my blogs, articles and when I host events, etc.. It keeps my hype going. But we all know it's fun and games. And we all play an important role in the industry. Hence, we need not fight with each other.
However, the downfall of this business is that every now and again you get a fuckin sound that does not understand the system and they start to take me for a push over. It's not a "bad mon" thing, but I can help myself when need be (smiling). I am only going to take but so much talk from a sound man.
Anyway, Supersonic and I cleared the air. It got ugly, but it was in good faith. They explained their actions and they understood why I reacted the way I did. They are a great sound crew....... one of the best in Europe, but I urged them to stay out the politics.
I am glad it worked out the way it did in the end. Big up to Supersonic.

silverhawk is back and last week was in Atlanta, however the turn out was poor and my bredren said when he wake in the dance they were beating Chino pon dub. I think Hawk is trying to find a market, it\'s hard being gone for almost 20 years and comeback. Those fans are now parents and the younger generationz a listen to coppershot, renaissance, matterhorn and whom have you.
